AmerEquine's World's Most Beautiful Horse Contestant June 2, 2012

Well, according to the world of "Jordan" (Poco Pines Puddin) I have crossed the line in entering her in a beauty contest. Even though she was named after Jordin Sparks (b4 Jordin became the American Idol 2006), my Jordan feels like her days need to be spent hanging w/her girls, discussing the handsome stallion, "Pretty Boy Floyd" at 2L Ranch!  The contest is being given by AmerEquine which is a Festival of the Horse celebration being held at Will Rogers coliseum, Ft Worth, TX JUNE 1-3, 2012

There will be 3 exciting fun-filled days of clinicians, presenters, special events (Extreme Cowboy races, resuce organizations, etc) and exhibits galore!  The main events are the bluegrass musicians who are coming to sing and play for you!  Emmy Lou Harris, Marty Stewart...my gosh......where else can you find all this excitement under one roof. www.amerequine.com.

Come and cheer for Jordan Sat. June 2, 6pm when she does her "beauty walk through!"   I will try to post pictures of her soon.  If we make it through to Sunday evening, there will be a 5 min. freestyle....mums the word!  LOL

RANCH HORSE VERSATILITY CLINIC SERIES 3 and 4 JULY 13- 15, 2012

Howdy Friends-

The second part (3 and 4) of the 4 part series for RANCH HORSE VERSATILITY clinic will be held again at Circle T arena w/ our returning award-winning clinician, MR. VAN HARGIS!  He is truly a master in communciation and can make the little detail in horsemanship goals fun and educational. He encourages, inspires us while sharing his endless knowledge. What I like the most is the fast he is continuing to better his horsemanship every day like all of us. He is a true Cowboy/dayworker and continues to be a steward of the land while sharing his passion in Cowmanship(learning to care for cattle/read them, low stress handling)/Horsemanship!

Even if you missed series 1 and 2 you can come and learn! Those who have attended 3 of the 4 part series will have a chance at winning the beautifully hand-crafted belt buckle "TOP HAND" award. This buckle will be given out my Van himself! Come and cheer your family members on as they compete in the mini-ranch hand competition that weekend.  There will be a demo Friday night like you haven't seen before!  And the clinic will be from 9-5 on Sat/Sun.  Rider costs and auditor prices TBD.  We will have this exciting event held at the fabulous Circle T Arena, Hamilton, TX.  The host hotel is none other than the Inn at Circle T.  (can you tell how much I exude excitement in loving my job here!:))  The Crossfire Cafe and newly managed Crossfire Saddle shop will be open for the event also!   Come on out to Hamilton, TX....it truly is what a "Hometown should be!"

VAN HARGIS RANCH HORSE VERSATILITY CLINIC SERIES 1&2 APRIL 27-29, 2012

Dollar's first clinic in a few years-he was awesome! For those of you who know my story w/this boy-he has been the reason for my horsemanship journey. I have learned so much from Dollar. He was a true partner this weekend! Van Hargis is an excellent teacher! He is very knowledgeable and makes the students feel at ease in a learning environment. Some of us needed reviewing while others learned the basic fundamentals for moving the horse's body, getting the horses soft n supple, etc. We rode and we rode and we rode, then we rode some more! All the while gaining ground in our horsemanship for Ranch Horses. We also began the fundamentals of roping! I was so excited to rope and my shoulder did great! Our students are coming back, next clinic date to be announced asap....dont'wait to sign up. Circle T is the place to be!  www.-inn-at-circle-t.com
